1 Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development:
  • Write and optimize SQL queries for querying, inserting, updating, and deleting data in Oracle databases.
  • Develop and maintain PLSQL stored procedures, functions, and triggers to automate database tasks.
  • Implement database structures, including tables, indexes, views, and sequences to support business processes.
• Performance Optimization:
  • Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize database queries for better efficiency and speed.
  • Analyze execution plans and tune SQL queries for optimal performance.
  • Assist in ensuring that database systems are scalable, reliable, and performant.
• Data Management & Security:
  • Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security within Oracle databases.
  • Implement data validation and error-handling techniques within stored procedures and queries.
  • Backup, restore, and recover Oracle databases to maintain data availability and security.
• Collaboration & Support:
  • Work with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts, to understand data requirements and provide solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting of database-related issues.
  • Assist in the migration and upgrade of databases to newer versions.
• Continuous Learning:
  • Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in Oracle database development.
  • Participate in training programs and seek opportunities to develop technical skills in Oracle SQL and PLSQL.

2 Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Technical Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Oracle SQL and PLSQL for database development.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Database Architecture and key concepts like tables, views, triggers, and indexes.
  • Understanding of database normalization, data integrity, and relationships.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Database Tools such as SQL*Plus, Oracle SQL Developer, or Toad.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex datasets.
